How to generate a single timestamp from string in python?

In JS console, we are able to generate a single timestamp using DateTime('2013-01-11') directly get a DateTime from string. I am wondering if we could do the same thing using c3.DateTime in python?

I think you just need to use string for datetime in Python.

For example, when I fetch the following type

entity type MyType schema name "XXX" {
  dt: datetime
}

In Python,
c3.MyType.fetch().toJson()["objs"][0]["dt"] is just u'2019-01-01T00:00:00'

String also works for creating data

c3.OilGasWell.merge(this = {"id":"test", "dt": "2019-02-01"})
