Bypass 499 row limit on c3Grid

#1

I have an object with just approx 3,600 rows in it and I want to dump it onto the screen using c3Grid

but I have to resort to c3CSV, using
c3CSV(OilGasWell.fetch({limit:10000}));
This gives me a CSV with all the records. However, I want to do the same thing in c3Grid, but I am not able to overcome the 499 row limit on the screen.

Is there anything I can feed to c3Grid to override this default limit?

c3Grid(OilGasWell.fetch({limit: -1}));

Though the result will be paginated, you will still have all the rows fetched.

@FerencM

You can provide a second argument to c3Grid

E.g c3Grid(command, 5000)

You may also set that as a preference in the console menus: Tools -> Options -> “Maximum rows in grid”.

In either method (passing the limit through c3Grid or setting it in the console options), the value -1 will be interpreted as no limit, although that may be dangerous because if you attempt to show tens of thousands of rows, it may hang or crash your browser.

Thanks Rohit. This does exactly what I had hoped to achieve. Very helpful to know.
